A truly magical celebration of romantic love and so much fun was had at Katy and Matthew’s fairytale Disney wedding on November 8th 2016 at Disney World in Florida. Find out what it’s really like to have a wedding at Disney World and how dreams really do come true.
Fairytale Disney Wedding
Disney’s most iconic characters dined with Katy and her bridesmaids, creating unforgettable memories before the wedding celebration even began. On the big day Katy got ready with her bridesmaids in their room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Hotel. Katy wore a stunning ballgown dress with intricate appliqués on the sweetheart neckline bodice, making her look like a real life princess. She wore some amazing accessories, including a brilliant diamond and platinum snowflake pendant and some gorgeous, glittery Jimmy Choo shoes.
Fairytale Wedding Ceremony
Katy and Matthew’s ceremony was held in the Disney Wedding Pavilion inside the Grand Floridian Resort, this is the most famous of Disney’s ceremony location across the globe. From the Pavilion there is a breathtaking view of Cinderella’s Castle which also made a fantastic background for some truly beautiful wedding photos that evening.
Fairytale Wedding Photos
After the ceremony the newlyweds had a wedding day photo shoot in Walt Disney World’s France Pavilion, having exclusive use of the French-themed area of the Epcot. The France Pavilion also played host to their wedding reception, the waterfront terrace being the perfect location for their outdoor reception. Each guest received a personalised Mickey Mouse ears hat, a unique favour from an unforgettable wedding.
As the celebration came to an end and night drew in a fireworks display lit up the sky, making for some dazzling photos of the happy couple kissing as sparks fly!
