Ana Famorosa and Kevin McGuinness held their deeply romantic Italian castle wedding at Castello di Montalto in Tuscany on the 24th of June 2017. The day was captured beautifully by international award-winning fashion, wedding and celebrity photographer, Emma-Jane Lewis at Emma-Jane Photography.
Italian Castle Wedding in Tuscany
There are fewer more romantic wedding venues than this thousand year old medieval castle in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The beautiful bride wore a simple vintage style bridal gown with lace cap sleeves while the groom looked suitable dapper in a dove grey suit and waistcoat; the bridesmaids looked lovely in lace and chiffon gowns. The religious wedding ceremony was held at 4pm to allow the temperature to cool and they watched the sun set at around 8pm. An informal wedding breakfast was held outside under romantic and atmospheric fairylights.
An Italian Castle Wedding
The castle of Montalto in Toscana lies east of Siena in ‘la Berardenga’, an extensive territory in the Chianti region of Tuscany. It is over a thousand years old and situated at the centre of a 650-acre farm that produces organic olive oil, honey and grain. The castle’s Romeo and Juliet style balcony and the views across the hills in the distance provided some stunning photo opportunities. A location with ten centuries of history made for a gorgeous backdrop to their big day.
