Deliveroo’s new wedding catering service has been announced (and though it’s certainly a unique and ingenious option it’s definitely not the most unusual wedding catering idea we’ve ever seen!).

Deliveroo is an award-winning food delivery service that works with restaurants in over 200 cities and across 12 countries to deliver food to customers, and it has now announced that it will be using its “super kitchens” to cater for its first ever wedding later this year. Bride-to-be Martha Macgregor has said,
“No two couples are the same, so why should we settle for the same venues, songs, and meals? We loved the idea of having a relaxed takeaway vibe but wanted to make sure it was tasty and amazing food, hence Deliveroo.”
Deliveroo’s move into the weddingsphere comes in response to soaring customer demand, and the use of the Deliveroo service to cater for wedding guests will soon be widely available. The service will work outside of the Deliveroo app, and the happy couple will receive an account manager who will help them to discover the perfect options for their wedding day. Couples will have an enormous choice of food for their wedding day, spanning all manner of cuisine types.
Joe Groves at Deliveroo said, “The wedding industry represents a huge opportunity for Deliveroo. We’re not strangers to delivering orders for large groups so we jumped at the chance to flex our caterer muscles and help Martha create an amazing menu for her guests.”
