Is Leona Lewis engaged? Fans seem to think so! They met when Dennis was working as a backup dancer on Leona’s tour, and they celebrated their 8-year anniversary at the beginning of the month when Dennis posted a sweet collage to Instagram with the message,
“It’s been the most beautiful 8 years of my life with this incredible human being. Here’s to many more beautiful memories,”
Engagement rumours swirled when Leona, who is a notoriously private person, took to an Instagram story and posted pictures and videos that feature a sparkling ring on her ring finger. She and Dennis are currently enjoying a romantic trip together in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Leona has been filming the series, The Oath.
Leona has discussed marriage before—in 2013 she spoke to the Metro and said, “Things with Dennis are going really good. We haven’t talked about marriage yet…It is something I want to do at some point. ” She also said that she always imagined she would get married in her twenties, but then she didn’t feel ready:
“I was always like, ‘I am going to get married in my 20s!’ But now I’m like, ‘No, no, no. I’m not ready!’ I feel like you think you are going to be ready but then you get to your late 20s and you’re not ready.”
While representatives for the couple haven’t responded yet to the rumours, fans are incredibly happy and excited for them, and we wish them huge congratulations.
