We woke up this morning to see the sad news that Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey had cancelled their wedding.
The pair got engaged in August last year, and always seems deliriously happy, so we were shocked to say the least.
But it seems as always, it’s a case of not believing everything you read.
Louise took to Instagram stories to set the rumours straight, and we’re happy to report their wedding is not cancelled – phew!
Speaking to the camera, Louise said: “This morning I woke up to a lot of emails and even some messages from concerned friends because I got Google alerts saying that I’ve cancelled my wedding to Ryan Libbey because I don’t want to rush anything. Thought I would do an Insta Story to set the record straight and quash the rumours.”
“We have not cancelled our wedding, we are going to get married and we are looking at locations at the moment, but we wanted to really enjoy the process and because we just launched our business and it’s provided a lot more work than we ever imagined and we’re investing a lot of time and lot of money, we really want to focus on that at the moment and want to get married at a time we have a little bit less on our plates and we want to nail it.”
Louise then turns the camera to Ryan and asks: “Are we getting married ? Do you love me? Do you want to get married abroad?”
To which Ryan responds yes to all – so now we have a little insight into their plans, knowing they’re planning to host a destination wedding!
