We Reveal the Most Popular Wedding Date of the Last 30 Years

If you and your partner are celebrating your anniversary today, or if it’s actually your wedding day, you’re not alone!

A study by jeweller Beaverbrooks revealed that August 30th is the most popular day to get married in the UK, with 33,782 couples having tied the knot on August 30th over the last 20 years.

August as a whole is rather popular to get married during – a total of 848,851 marriages were recorded in the month of August between 1996 and 2016, ahead of July (695,494 marriages) and September (677,342 marriages).
