I was 26 he was 25

He did and it was amazing!!!!!!!
How did your partner (or you) propose?
It was like something from a film!! I was told to be ready for an overnight stay (I had know idea where/what we were doing!) so at 1pm I was sat waiting at home on my own when the doorbell rang.. a driver answered driving a gorgeous Mercedes! He took me to the Dior shop in Knightsbridge where i was given champagne and told to choose any bag and pair of shoes for the evening! The driver (who had been told not to tell me where or what I was going to be doing) then took me to the Dorchester Hotel where I went to the amazing spa.. I was treated to a facial and had my hair done glamorously for the evening. I was then taken to the most fantastic bedroom where i quickly got ready in the new dress that my other half had bought be at christmas (and of course the new bag and shoes!). The driver was waiting for me at outside at 5pm, he then took me to a place called Tower 42 in the city which has a champagne bar at the top. The bar was amazing… panoramic views of London… it was almost like being in a plane I was so high up! Richard was waiting for me at a table, he stood up, told me i looked stunning, kissed me, then suddenly got down on one knee. It was a beautiful clear day and he had timed it so the sun was setting… how could i resist as he proposed to me! I had fallen in love with him on our 1st date a year and a half ago so I knew my answer was yes!!! We then enjoyed an evening of food and clubbing into the early hours followed by an amazing breakfast at the Dorchester. I don’t think i could’ve planned a more amazing proposal if i tried!
Who did you share the news of your engagement with first?
I took a simple picture of my ringed finger and group texted it to my closest friends and my mum.
Describe your ring.
Its a platinum ring with a big solitaire diamond. Simple and elegant!
Did you help choose the ring?
No… it was a complete surprise
Did you have an engagement party?
Not a party as such but went out for a meal with family

At a local small family restaurant

19th Dec 09. (we need a while to save up after the extravagant proposal!) lol
What are you looking forward to the most about planning a wedding?
Looking around venues was fun… but I cant wait to start trying on dresses!
