I met Andy just over a year ago at a local pub. A Kiwi through and through, Andy is keen on his rugby, beer and country! One day, on a beautiful spring day in April, I was watching him play rugby. After the game had finished, he came over to me on the side line. All hot and sweaty he asked me to follow him into the centre of the pitch. All the other boys were walking away towards the club house. Andy then took me to the centre line, told me he loved me, then got down on one knee and said "will you marry me".
Every girl dreams of this moment, and it was truly everything I had ever imagined. I burst into tears! After I had accepted, we walked to the clubhouse and Andy told everyone that I had agreed to marry him!
We are getting married on 21st May in Guildford. After that we’re both emigrating to New Zealand and I couldn’t be happier.
