A couple of months ago, I went to India for a few weeks on holiday. I didn’t expect to find what I was looking for in a lifetime partner, but I did.I was invited to a party one evening and met Anand through a mutual friend. At first, I was uncertain about him, there was something about him that I couldn’t put my finger on. Anyway, we were chatting away as you do, and the more I talked to him, the more my suspicions grew less.I met him again the next day and we were just sitting chatting, when suddenly I realised that I didn’t have to look any further for my partner…I couldn’t belive it. He was sitting right before my eyes. I was shocked, and confused to say the least. Anand looked at me funnily and asked me if I was OK… I just looked at him and blurted out that I loved him.He just stared at me for a few seconds. Those few seconds were the longest of my life. Then he smiled, his beautiful smile. I knew then that he felt the same way.I always thought love at first sight only happened in the movies, but hey, what do you know? It happens for real too…He took me along the waters edge, (we were on a beach at sunset – howromantic can you get!?) held my hand, looked at me and asked me to marry him… I couldn’t say anything…except just stare at him. Then I said yes – and I’ve never looked back!!
