Hid the ring in my coat pocket. We were in the middle of Leicester Sq after a nice day out with our son (river boat, tower of London followed by lovely meal to end the day etc etc) and it started to chuck down with rain and in the throws of covering up the pram with its rain jacket, he gave me my jacket which I threw on only to wonder what on earth was in my pocket (I don’t remember leaving anything bulky in my pocket and besides, the jacket had been rolled up all day ;} ). Yep it was the ring and he proposed there and then (well, it only took him 18yrs + 4 months LOL!! :O)

Did you help choose the ring?
I had told him the cut of the diamond I would want if ever I got an engagement ring and the clarity of the stone would be 2nd. The size of the stone never mattered

No. Not really possible in his job.

We’re undecided, but friends have asked

Probably in a pub somewhere local if we do decide.

What are you looking forward to the most about planning a wedding?
I’ve browsed pictures & ideas for a while but now its actually happened, its actually quite daunting eek!! I mean where on earth do you start.
