How and when did you meet?
We met online dating on Facebook! He sent me a message, we started chatting, 8 months later we met for the first time, 18 months later I moved 60miles to live with him, 6months later he proposed the rest is history!
How old are you both?
I’m 26 and Mark’s 29.
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
He proposed in Las Vegas on new years eve 2009. It was 6am in our hotel room over looking the mountains. He left a note next to my pillow saying ”will u marry me?”
Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?
I went to Marbella, me and some girlfriends rented a villa.
How did your groom help with the wedding planning?
Mark said he was more than happy to let me have free range and have the day I want, he had a back seat!
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
Yes, I used the guest list, table planner and checklist great help!
Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?
I brought a lot at the wedding show at the NEC.
Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it
My dress is Ronald Joyce, its AMAZING. It pushed my mum and granny to tears! I brought it from a local bridal shop.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I chose my best friend Claire. Her dress is from Coast, we got a bargain in the sales! My little bridesmaid Olivia wore an Alfred Angelo princess dress.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
They wore suits from Peter Posh, light grey suits and matching waistcoats, with fuschia pink cravats and hankies!
Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
Civil ceremony at a hotel country club.
Where did you hold your reception?
Our ceremony and reception were all at the same place.
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had 50 in the day and an extra 100 at night.
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
Pink pink and pink!
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
White chair covers and pink sashes, pink cameras, pink tealight holders, pink balloons, pink bubbles, pink vases and flowers!
Did you give your guests favours?
The ladies had glass candles in pink organza bags and the men are having miniature whiskeys!
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
My sister in law did my flowers, I had fuschia pink gerberas!
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
One of my customers is a fab cake maker. I’m having a 5 tiered pink sponge cake.
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
We had a table magician in the day, disco, casino, ice cream van and choclate fountain at night
