He proposed on holiday in Crete

I went to Aberdeen with 22 of my closest friends & family, he had a big night out in our home town.
How did your groom help with the wedding planning?
Not really
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
Yes, lots of ideas bought table decorations and cameras from site.

Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?
Both visited the Glasgow store bought cameras, ribbon, butterflies lots

Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I had 3 adult bridesmaids and 2 flower girls, the adults wore gold prom style dresses from Debenhams and the two little ones wore ivory & gold dresses from Mothercare.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
Groom chose his little brother for his best man and his cousin and best friend for the ushers- they all wore kilts- grey spirit tartan

How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
Yes 87 to the day and a further 90 at night
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
Gold, Ivory with lots of gerberas & butterflies & candles
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
Glass fishbowls with bear grass, a different coloured floating gerbera in the fishbowl and butterflies and candles surrounding the bowl
Did you give your guests favours?
Yes during the day ladies got seedsticks and men got whiskey miniatures, at night ladies got organza bags filled with a candle, rose petals and a butterfly
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
My florist was acanthus i had yellow & ivory cala lilies with grasses and butterflies & crystals. bridesmaids had roses, gerberas and grasses. Also gerbera’s on the tables.
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
Venue handled the catering, we had soup & melon to start, chicken on leek mash or roast beef & yorkshire pudding and cheesecake & profiteroles to finish
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
Goodfellow & Steven made the cake it was a three tier (Vanilla, Chocolate & Fruit) square cake with butterfly decoration and sparkle icing.
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
Trilogy the band at night- they were wonderful
Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?

Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
We spent our first night at home, we went on honeymoon to a 5 star hotel in bulgaria- booked with first choice
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
All of it it just passed in a blur!!
Did you experience any “nightmare” moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
Not really the worst thing that happened was that i forgot to take my shoes & underwear to a dress fitting!
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
I would’t do anything differently- my advice to other brides is enjoy your day!
