How and when did you meet?
We met 12 years ago in the local pub where I worked.
How old are you both?
37 and 48.
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
He proposed in bed during a heartfelt conversation after the funeral of a close friend caused us to think about what we really wanted from life.
Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?
Yes, he went to Torremolinos and I went to Pontins for a 48 hour party weekend!
How did your groom help with the wedding planning?
He didn’t!
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
We used the planning tools and bought table plans and stationery.
Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?
We bought place cards and a table plan.

I had an Alfred Angelo dress bought from Solihull Brides in Birmingham.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I chose my closest friends and they wore the same designer as above.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
The best man was my husband’s best mate they hired Prince Edward suits.
Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
We had a civil ceremony.
Where did you hold your ceremony?
At the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham.
Where did you hold your reception?
In the same place.
Did you have any special wedding transport?
No.
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had 85 daytime guests and 120 evening guests.
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
Our colour scheme was blue.
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
Everything was blue and our table centres were candles from Ikea.
Did you give your guests favours?
Yes, we gave them 2010 personalised diaries.
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
One of my bridesmaids made me a 3 tier round cake. It was white with blue ribbon and snowflakes.
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
All of it was amazing!
