We first met at high school we being together since we was 15 years old we being together for nearly 7 years

we are 21 nearly 22
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
well he propose to me on our 18th birthday it was a surpise enagement and stephen got down on one knee on a stag and said will you marry me i said yes it was the best day of our lifes
Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?
i went to flares in birmingham and my husand went to reflex in birmingham too we both went nightclubing
How did your groom help with the wedding planning?
Yes he did he was a amazing groom he was the best he help paid for wedding and helping setting things up and i couldnt ask for a best groom.
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
Yep I did it was very useful for making my our wedding invitions and wedding stationery and it was very useful finding things out about weddings .

Well I didn’t have anything off confetti but the shops got beautiful things

My dress was from romantic dress it is called dionne i brought it from curio it was the most beautiful dress i ever had i love it i had my tiara from bridal jewellery.co.uk it was the most lovely tiara i had my jewellery from debenhams i had my underwear from mark and spencers my bracelet was from the jewellery chanel and my bag was from bhs my garter from ebay my shoes i got from curio they was rainbow club shoes they was pumps my veil i got from curio too i had beautiful butterflies on it everything was so lovely.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
They wear pink romantica dresses and the maid of honor had a cream fascinators and cream shoes and two older girls had diamond swirls in their hair and then the flowergirls had handmade dresses that was pink and ivory with buttterfly and diamonds on the skirt and butterflies bags from bhs so beautiful.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
His best man is his best friend martin and her ushers was his brothers david and michael and they wore suits from formal affair that was ivory dragon waist coat and edwardian jacket and pink cravats with diamond pins and cufflinks.
Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
We had it at church at st hilda’s church in oldbury my cousin sang at the church for me she sang who lovely for the both of us

The ceremony was at st hilda’s church
Where did you hold your reception?
We had our reception at the british legion club on windsor road in oldbury
Did you have any special wedding transport?
I had a horse and carriage i had two white horses it look like a real life fairy tale i felt like cinderella
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had 200 and over guests come in day and 180-200 guests on evening
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
Our theme was butterflies and cherry blossom the colours are pink and ivory spring/summer theme wedding with abit of alice in wonderland and fairy tales princess theme
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
Confetti table cloths balloons and other table accessories
Did you give your guests favours?
We did pink and ivory bags for the adults with sweets and we did goodies bags and sweets for the kids
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
Our florist was Maureens in bearwood in oldbury and for our centre pieces we use a place called party perfection in smetwick high street both companies beautiful our flowers had butterflies in them and they was pink and ivory
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
We had a running buffet because it was easier with all kids there too have a sit down meal it be too long and members of our family and friends helped us with food and local buinesses too help us with food
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
Our wedding cake was made by a amazing talented women name sally who it a family friend and the theme on cake was pink and ivory and pink ribbons with cherry blossom and butterflies
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
Yes we had a DJ that was recommended by the venue he was good he played update music and give out toys for kids and he does kids games too.
Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?
We didn’t have gifts we just ask for vouchers and things they want to buy for us.
Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
Our honeymoon is scotland edinburgh we booked it online.
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Most memorable moment for me is our first kiss as husand and wife and being a wife our first dance too
Did you experience any “nightmare” moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
We had couple of moments we lose the lace for back of one our bridemaids dresses but then found it and that about it .
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
Always follow your dreams and heart and do what you think is right .
