Step aboard the wedding bus! There is no better way to travel to your wedding than with a glass of bubbly in your hand and all your friends and family around you. Hiring a bus is the easiest way to transport all your wedding guests to and from each venue. Here’s why every wedding should have a bus.
Vintage, retro and party bus hire
A wild wedding party bus, complete with music, light shows and flowing champagne will certainly ensure no one ever forgets your wedding! The party bus ensures the celebration never stops even when travelling between venues.
If you’re planning a vintage or retro style day then a bus from that era could be just the thing. A 1950s routemaster bus is ideal for a 50’s themed wedding while a 1930s coach will set off you’re a vintage look wedding to perfection. A more modern 1970s open-top double decker is so much fun on a sunny day. Wedding photos of all your guests waving from the top deck or standing by an amazing vintage bus really set the scene.

Wedding bus for guests
A wedding bus, quite apart from looking stylish and being loads of fun, can make everyone’s lives so much easier as there will be no need for all your guests to find parking more than once. If many of your guests are staying at the reception venue, have them catch the bus from there to the ceremony and back. If the venues are close enough, have the bus return to pick up the bride, her father and bridesmaids too so you won’t have to hire another bridal car. The bride and groom can simply hop on the bus with everyone else and enjoy the ride back to their reception in unconventional style. The bus will then come into its own late at night to do return journeys for guests as they leave to stay at nearby hotels.

Decorating your wedding bus
Most bus hire companies will decorate the bus with a ‘Wedding Party’ sign in place of the destination on the front and back. Some will be able to add your names and the date even. Many companies will add white flowers to the interior and a ribbon to the bonnet. You might want to add a ‘Just Married’ sign to the back or something more personal.

There are so many reasons why you should book a bus for your wedding. It might seem like just another expense to add to your long list of non-essential wedding budget possibilities but a bus will ensure all your guests get from venue to venue at the same time, in real style.
