You’re engaged! How does it feel? I know this might sound soppy but it feels amazing to be engaged to each other, we’re actually best friends even though we are complete opposites, on our first date there was no awkward moments we were chatting away like we’d known each other for years, and now to be getting married it just feels right.
The proposal… We were actually only going out for 3 months before he popped the question, he must have known I was his Mrs. Right. It was my birthday; the first birthday we had celebrated together he took me out for a romantic meal and gave me a box of my favourite chocolates. I was so excited to get some chocolates it took me a few seconds to notice he replaced one of the chocolates with the ring, and when I looked back up he was down on one knee with a bouquet of flowers.
Tell us about your ring… My ring was just the most amazing sparkly thing I have ever seen I couldn’t have picked a better ring myself.
How do you feel about winning our Win your Wedding competition? To be picked as the winner is just mind blowing. When I got the call I was in shock and cried in the middle of a shop, me and Dan were only speaking about our wedding a few days ago, we had decided to get married abroad because it would be a lot cheaper even though that wasn’t my dream, but now my dream has come true and that just feels amazing.
