Today’s DIY tutorial demonstrates a very simple but very sophisticated way of creating unique industrial luxe wedding favours for your guests. Read on to see a step-by-step guide on how to make your own Industrial Chic mini pinch pot favours.
What You’ll Need:
- Miniature Pinch Pot with Two-Tone Finish (this tutorial features the willow-green pots)
- Potting Soil and a Shovel/Spade
- Bistro Bliss Rectangular “Thank you” Favour Tag
- Miniature Black Wooden Pegs/Clips
- Succulents (see our article on the rising trend of Wedding Succulents)
Instructions
Once you have your materials all together, it’s a straightforward, 3-step process to creating your Industrial Chic Mini Pinch Pot Favours:
Step 1: Add soil to your pot.
Step 2: Position your succulent on top of the soil (we advise you do this on the morning of your celebration—keep your succulents refrigerated until then in order to keep them fresh.)
Step 3: Using a wooden peg/clip, attach your tag.

We have many different potting options in our shop, such as miniature pails and buckets and tins, all of which you can personalise to match your own wedding theme with ribbons, accessories, and tags, etc. Also, you don’t have to stick to succulents to make an Industrial Chic theme. Even the more traditional wedding flowers like roses and lilies look magnificent in this style, though those would probably need to be properly planted in a bigger pot. This will demand more of your time and perhaps more of your money. Furthermore, when you’re choosing your wedding favour plants, try to make sure you’re choosing a plant/flower that all of your guests can enjoy. For example, make sure no one’s allergic to the plant you’d like to use.
