Get everyone together in a hired cottage for the weekend or go camping, somewhere you can all relax and just eat, drink, walk to the local country pub or play some music and dance late into the night. Plan it Well in Advance
With friends and family travelling from different ends of the country it can be difficult to agree on a date and location that will suit everyone. So the earlier you start planning, the better. Plan it by group email and pick a date that the majority of people can do. There will always be people who can’t make it for one reason or another but set a date and stick to it, then ensure everyone knows up front how much they need to pay and when to pay it by.
