Kate Moss, Lily Allen and Kate Middleton’s weddings last year prompted us to take a look at bridal parties in more detail. While the focus of the bridal party had been on the bridesmaids, now it seems to have shifted towards cute little suited and booted pageboys and pixie-like flower girls. Here is how to make the most of your little page boys and flower girls.
Fresh floral hair wreaths, gorgeous tulle ballgown dresses and some magical tulle wands are all a little princess needs to put a spell over your wedding guests, while a dapper suit and bow tie will make your page boy feel like a right little man.

A great way to include the little ones in your ceremony is to have them open the proceedings. Have the page boy set your theme by carrying the rings on a ring cushion while the flower girls sprinkle silk petals from a pretty white flower girl basket in you wedding colours. Another idea is to have the children carry down some handmade signs to announce your arrival in a fun and kitsch way. If you have a large entourage, have two kids hold up a word at a time (‘Here’ ‘comes’ ‘the’ ‘bride’). On the way back down the aisle, they could carry a ‘Just Married’ sign.
