One of my favourite wedding themes has to be the vintage tea party- think bunting, hand crafted favours, pretty teacups filled with flowers and cake stands hosting colourful cupcakes. The question is how do you incorporate some of that into your wedding day look?

Veils, veils, veils! Birdcage veils are a modern twist to the traditional veil and work well with shorter 1950’s style tea dresses.

Tea party dresses also look fabulous with styled hair, a couple of pretty hairpins, curls, or a crystal hair comb to add a little detail.

Or you could add some flowers to your hair and wear a long pendant and pearls around your wrist!

Catering for the weather is important if you live in area that’s a little unpredictable! Come rain or shine, you can incorporate the vintage theme into your look, simply by using one of our beautiful umbrellas as an accessory.
The ring! Vintage rings can be quite pricey, but if you’re a girl with vintage taste and a love for all things fine, then you’ll definitely want a special and unique ring. A personal favourite of mine would have to be this 1930’s engagement ring SITFineJewelry
Vintage jewellery worn at a wedding becomes very precious in itself, and can be appreciated for many years to come. It is not an item worn once, it’s a wonderful reminder of that special day and has the potential to become a much loved family heirloom.
