You’d be surprised how many ways there are to fold a handkerchief – and your dashing groom certainly deserves this suave touch of class with his suit! His pocket fold can be either the classic white, or in a chosen hue to match the colour scheme. We have selected the five most popular options for you to try with step by step instructions – see which one he likes best!

The Classic Square
Lay the fabric flat, right side down.
Fold in half left to right.
Fold the bottom section up, to the top, but not all the way.
Fit into suit pocket with just about a centimetre peeking out.
The Basic Triangle
Lay fabric right side down, in diamond shape. Draw bottom corner to the top corner.
Fold left corner to right corner.
Fold right corner to left corner and slightly over to adjust the width to the pocket width.
Fit into suit pocket to a desired length and angle.
The Twin Peaks
Lay fabric right side down, in diamond shape.
Draw bottom corner to the top and to the left so the tips are side by side.
Fold left corner halfway in.
Fold right corner to create square base, and adjust to width of the suit pocket.
Tuck into suit pocket with the points peeking out, to desired height.
The Three Point
Lay fabric right side down, in diamond shape.
Draw bottom corner to the top and to the left so the tips are side by side.
Draw the left corner up and across to the right to create the third point.
Draw right corner across to the left to adjust for pocket width, and tuck the excess corner around the back.
Tuck into pocket to desired length.
The Winged Puff
Lay fabric right side down, in diamond shape.
Fold top corner to bottom to form a triangle.
Fold left corner to bottom centre corner.
Fold right corner to bottom centre corner.
Fold both left and right corners into the centre once again to create a long rectangle shape.
Tuck into pocket with the folded triangle pulled out to desired length.
