Whilst some of us used lockdown to perfect our baking skills and smash as many Zoom quizzes as possible, Jenny Packham used her time wisely to design this stunning new collection, which includes gorgeous options for the bride looking for an alternative wedding dress, as well as seriously stylish options for the mother of the bride, bridesmaids and guests who want to steal the show.
Jenny had the following to say about her creative process and inspiration: “Harsh realities often give creatives new powers to find imaginative means of escape. “Redesigned four times, each new take on the collection produced a more lively and colourful aesthetic with flowing volume, daring backs and puffs of tulle formed into styles to illuminate and seduce.
“It’s true- grand special occasions are distant day dreams and certainty in this new era as flimsy as the chiffons we have draped but a sense of glamour and a bit of humour now seem more essential than ever.”
