The 1st of December means one thing – it’s the first day of advent. The countdown to Christmas has officially begun with our virtual advent calendar and 24 days of Christmas competitions.

The Bombay Sapphire Distillery
You’ll find the Bombay Sapphire Distillery in a breath-taking landscape of rolling hills, making it hard to believe it’s just 60 miles from London.
Laverstoke Mill dates to the 10th century; and was once the site of a manor in the ownership of Henry VIII but most notably it was a Georgian and Victorian paper mill. Entrepreneur Henry Portal first starting manufacturing bank notes in 1718; and was later awarded the contract to produce all the bank notes for the bank of England and the British Empire.
Your visit starts with a trip to the Turbine Bar to choose a Bombay gin to make your own complimentary gin & tonic using self-serve gin machines. You’ll then head to the cinema room to be immersed in all things Bombay Sapphire in preparation for your tour.
Confetti Advent: 24 Days of Christmas Competitions
You can upgrade your experience by booking a gin masterclass experience to expand your cocktail making skills. Led by a specially trained gin expert who teaches guests the tricks of the trade, this intimate experience is the perfect way for all you cocktail aficionados to flex your creative prowess, as the trend for recreating premium cocktails at home continues to prosper.
After your experience, head to the Mill Bar to sample the cocktail menu and if the weather is good, enjoy your drink on the outside terrace next to the beautiful, crystal-clear river test.
If this wasn’t enough, you could even celebrate your wedding at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery with the perfect wedding reception, suited for couples looking for a venue with a difference.
Wedding receptions take place in the evening and include exclusive venue hire with a selection of styles and budgets to suit everyone.
