After meeting and falling in love on set, Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie tied the knot on the 23rd of June in a Scottish castle in Aberdeenshire. The couple who played on screen lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte announced their engagement traditionally through a notice in the Times.
The bride looked radiant in a vintage-style Elie Saab lace dress and the groom equally charming in a three-piece suit. In attendance where other GOT cast members including Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage.

2. Greg James and Bella Mackie

Back in September Greg James married his partner Bella Mackie seven months after she proposed. The exact date of the wedding is unknown as the couple kept the entire ceremony a secret.
Greg took to social media to share the news and wrote, “Bella and I got married and it was the most incredible day of my life. I think it was up there for her too. She is the best thing ever and I feel like I might actually burst with happiness.” The bride wore a stunning, non-traditional gown by French designer Jacquemus.

Australian model Shanina Shaik first met her beau DJ Ruckus in 2015 and only dated him for eight months before he proposed. The private Bohemian-style ceremony took place in April. The bride walked down the aisle in a custom Ralph & Russo and of course, she looked remarkable.

The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was held on 19 May 2018 in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and was one of the most talked about celebrity weddings of 2018. The royal couple announced their engagement back in November 2017 and every moment up to the big day was anticipated and speculated about.
British fashion designer Clare Waight Keller, artistic director of the fashion house Givenchy designed the wedding dress worn by Meghan on the big day. The ceremony was attended by members of the royal family, celebrity friends and Meghan’s Suits co-stars.

Comedian/actress Amy Schumer secretly tied the knot with partner Chris Fischer in Malibu on Valentine’s Day this year. The couple who only dated for a few months pulled off the ultimate intimate affair with less than 100 guests. Celebrity friends including Jennifer Lawrence, Chelsea Handler, and Jake Gyllenhaal were also in attendance.

Great British Bake-Off winner Candice Brown shared the news of her marriage to her partner of six years Liam Macaulay on Twitter by simply tweeting ‘Got married didn’t we.’ The pair tied the knot on September 22nd at Château de Varennes in Burgundy.

Another secret wedding! Actress Ellen Page, most famous for her leading role in the movie Juno, married her girlfriend Emma Portner earlier this year. The pair took to their individual social media accounts to announce the news. They both uploaded a candid photo of their hands with wedding bands on.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot in front of a filled St George’s Chapel on the 12th October this year. The stunning Princess wore a custom-made gown created by designer Peter Pilotto. Accompanying this she wore a tiara gifted to her by Queen Elizabeth named the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara.

Reality TV stars Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor first met during filming on the hit TV show Made in Chelsea where they began their 12 year long on again off again romance. After reuniting in 2016 the couple became engaged after Taylor popped the question during their vacation in Mykonos, Greece in July last year.

The pair said their ‘I dos’ in a ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles surrounded by family and friends.
Among them were several A-list celebrities including Chrissy Teigen, Tiffany Haddish, Gabrielle Union and Odell Beckham Jr.

Surprise wedding number four of 2018 and probably the most surprising saw model Emily Ratajkowski marry film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. Although there was never any official report that the two were dating the couple have known each other for several years and have the same friendship group.
The secret City Hall ceremony took place back in February at New York City Hall and only a few really close friends attended. Emily shared the news on Instagram and wrote: “I have a surprise” followed by “I got married today.”

The ceremony took place in a horse stable near San Diego, California as the couple both share a love of horses. Kaley stunned her guest in two completely different wedding looks. The first was a Reem Acra white lace gown with its own cape and the second, in time for the wedding reception, was a Tadashi Shoji jumpsuit.
