Here’s everything you need to know about having your dream destination wedding at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, in Cancun.
To help wedding couples truly understand the process and the possibilities that come with a destination wedding at Grand Fiesta Americana Corah Beach, there are on-site wedding planners and ‘romance experts’ to assist couples throughout the planning process to ensure their personalised dream wedding is achieved. From the initial planning call and site visit to the day of their wedding, the Coral Beach team works hand-in-hand with couple to ensure a stress-free day and lead up to it.
Hotel
This popular beach resort sits in the famous Punta Cancun area, home to shopping malls, restaurants, and the infamous Coco Bongo – all right outside your door so you can combine your hen/stag, wedding and honeymoon all at once.
There are 602 ocean view suites at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, each with a private terrace, and all of them facing the turquoise water of the Mexican-Caribbean. Simply put, there is not a bad room in the entire hotel. From the happy couple and their guests to the soon to be mother-in-law, the couple can rest assured everyone will receive a view of the ocean.
Beach
While all beaches in Mexico are public, the physical location of Coral Beach provides couples with a secluded private beach setting. And, with Isla Mujeres just across the bay acting as a natural barrier, Coral Beach enjoys calm waters and minimal beach erosion, allowing the hotel to retain its original soft, powder white sand for all these years.
Spa
The 40,000 sq. foot spa offers a unique multi-step hydrotherapy treatment that includes a steam-room, an ice room, a clay room and a walkway filled with massaging pebbles. You can also enjoy a first-class deep-tissue massage or a Thai massage. Couples can reserve their own massage suite where both bride and groom can indulge at once.
Whether it’s the hen party downtime, or mani-pedi’s and onsite hair and make-up for the big day, the award-winning Gem Spa in the hotel has it all. Most importantly, the 10-step hydrotherapy ritual followed by a relaxing spa treatment will set the tone for the couple and their guests to relax and enjoy the lead up to the big day.
Dining
One of only a few restaurants in Mexico to hold the AAA Five Diamond distinction, Le Basilic offers a French-Mediterranean menu under the guidance of Chef Henri Charvet who holds the title of Maître Cuisinier de France.
Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach has elevated its gastronomic offerings with the launch of The Table as a standalone dining option which is an out of this world experience for the wedding party and one that guests will never forget. This high-tech, interactive, 360º immersive dining experience takes guests on a culinary journey through Mexico’s rich history, while dining on a multi-course gourmet menu that celebrates the country’s authentic cuisine through indigenous, locally sourced ingredients.
Stepping into a private, screen-wrapped room equipped with a custom sound and projection system, guests are instantly immersed and transported back in time. While the completely customised 20-person communal dining table displays vivid video of the country’s mesmerizing past – from the prehistoric period to modern day – live music and actors illustrate various moments throughout history as a narrator depicts the journey.
The carefully curated nine-course tasting menu was designed to complement each of the historic time periods portrayed within the virtual presentation. Beginning with the Yucatán Peninsula’s fiery volcanoes and the dawn of the Maya civilization to the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors and the birth of the Mexican Colonial era, each captivating chapter allows guests to savor a singular unique dish paired with thoughtfully selected cocktails, wines, and artisan beer.
Menu highlights include blue crab chilpachole made with guajillo chili and burnt tortilla; venison tzi’ik featuring a traditional venison salad and regional citrus jelly; cacao braised short rib served with vanilla poached lobster and beurre blanc; a five spice ‘churro’ with sweet potato and milk cream cakes and more.
