My dress was… Charlotte Balbier ‘Tabitha’ vintage inspired dress in a gold colour with lace with a Percy and Flo headpiece and vintage veil.
Our bridesmaids were… Lucy, Ruby, Vicky and Alison.
Our wedding ceremony was… a religious ceremony in a charming church surrounded by our lovely friends and family, followed by a tea party at the Rivington Village Hall. We then travelled up to Linthwaite House in Windermere, a gorgeous intimate venue overlooking the lake.
Our wedding theme was… Vintage inspired. We had a vintage tea party at the Rivington Parish Church right after the ceremony.
Our reception venue was… Linthwaite House.
Our wedding was unique and special because… We celebrated the day with our closest friends and family, we wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Our first dance song was… Love You Till the End by The Pogues.
Our favourite part of the wedding was… The whole day – I want to re-live it again from start to finish.
Advice for other brides… Stick with your own ideas and don’t let other people persuade you to change your mind. It’s your day.
