Designer Wedding Dresses with Bows

One of the key trends we saw on designer wedding dresses at White Gallery was cute bows. Usually associated with flower girls more than brides, these bows were given a grown up update on the bridal catwalk.

British bridal brand Alan Hannah added bow detail to several creations – from shoulder detailing to skirt adornment, they got creative with the placement.

Valentini also added a high fashion twist to the bow – by placing miniature bows on the waistlines of some of their designs.

Sassi Holford is a great champion of bows in bridal design – she added sashes tied in bows to several of her designs.

Wedding Dresses with Colour

Colour is proving to be a huge emerging trend in the world of bridal, and designer wedding dresses are really leading the way.

Savin London send a range of gorgeously colourful wedding dresses down the runway – these are a dream come true for a bride who isn’t fantasising about an ivory wedding dress.

If you don’t want to be too adventurous, Alan Hannah has you covered – instead of their traditional hand-painted dress, there was an ivory gown decorated with colourful wisps of fabric.

But if you are all about the drama, Valentini has you covered. The Italian bridal house debuted gowns in red and black, with daring splits and figure-hugging silhouettes. These aren’t for wallflower brides.

Feathered Wedding Dresses

If you’re looking for a designer wedding dress, you’re going to want something high-end and luxe. Feather detailing on wedding dresses is a stylish look that will give your bridal gown a high end feel.

Sassi Holford wowed buyers and press with this dramatic dress, complete with fully-feathered skirt and totally irresistible feathered ties on the shoulders.

South Wales-based bridal brand Eliza Jane Howell had a theatrical catwalk show – and the outfit that completely stole their scene was this heavily beaded jumpsuit complete with a fabulous feathered kimono.

Savin London’s 2019 collection was full of feathers! From delicate wisps of ostrich feathers added to a bodice, to full skirts decorated with ruffles completely formed of feathers – these designer wedding dresses are perfect for drama queens.

Geometric Detailing

We’ve seen geometry really take off as a wedding trend lately – so it’s little wonder so many of the designer wedding dresses on the White Gallery catwalk showed hints of geometric inspiration.

Take a closer look at this incredibly fashion-forward gown from Sassi Holford, which featured a bold striped detail.

Designers such as Valentini were also inspired by shape and structure – just look at the structural detail on these wedding dresses!

Gold Designer Wedding Dresses

Gold was probably the most stand-out trend on the catwalk this season, with plenty of bridal designers sending golden gowns down the runway.

The designer behind Alan Hannah, Marguerite Hannah, used lots of gold fabric in this year’s collection and the designs really glittered as a result.

Designer Wedding Dresses with 3D Details

3D details were a huge trend on the catwalks at White Gallery – it’s a fun way to add more character and a playful hint to your wedding dress. With these designer wedding dresses showcasing 3D adornment, we know it’s set to be a huge trend for 2019.

Alan Hannah sent a number of wedding dresses with irresistible 3D detailing down the runway. Here are two of our favourites from the husband-and-wife duo that is Alan and Marguerite Hannah.
