Here at Alison House Hotel we believe that each wedding is unique. This is why we don’t offer standard wedding packages, we cater for each couple’s individual wishes and budget, creating a bespoke Wedding day every time. We work closely with each couple and are guided by what they want, that could be a formal dinner, a casual barbecue, or afternoon tea on the lawn.

We have two rooms and our new gazebo on the lawn that is licensed for your ceremony with seating for up to 80 guests indoors or an unlimited number outside in the garden.

Once a date has been provisionally reserved with us you will need to contact the Bakewell registry office on 01629 535 261 or your church of choice. We can also offer exclusivity to all of our 15 rooms, bed and breakfast for either one or two nights. Gardens and function rooms, bar and lounge for you and your guests from 4pm on the day before your wedding until 11am the day after. This also includes the hire of the room used for the ceremony.

For those that want an outdoor wedding, we now have a garden gazebo with spectacular uninterrupted views of Derbyshire hills that form the backdrop, which adds a wonderful romantic twist to your big day.

The house and grounds are equally suited for small intimate weddings as well as larger parties where a marquee may be required.

Your wedding menu is designed by you with a little help from our experienced chefs. Everything is freshly prepared by our creative kitchen team precisely to your requirements.

We offer complete flexibility with our food choices so whether it’s a hot buffet, afternoon tea or traditional wedding breakfast, the only limit on the dishes we can prepare is your imagination!
