About Beeston Manor

Beeston Manor is one of the Ribble Valley’s finest , privately owned wedding venues.  The enchanting Grade II listed  16th Century Barn is the perfect venue to ensure your special day is magical. Set in 140 acres of land at Hoghton near Preston, it is a family run and owned business.

Beeston Manor has fourteen en-suite bedrooms available, a licence to hold civil ceremonies, a restaurant and two beautiful reception rooms, the Oakland and Woodland, which have stunning panoramic views as the backdrop. The venue's romantic ambience is entirely true to its roots as local legend has it that Beeston Wood has been the meeting place for generations of lovers over the centuries.

Throughout the venue, Beeston Manor features stunning exposed green oak beams, pink sandstone walls, beautiful wooden floorboards, and cream coloured walls. The neutral colours of Beeston Manor makes it a perfect venue to host your wedding, as any colour combination fits perfectly.

The venue is also close to the M6, M61 and M65 motorway networks and has a helicopter pad if required.

Beeston Manor was  'WINNER'  in the Great Northern Wedding Awards 2016,  and  'RUNNER-UP' in 2015. Beeston Manor was also REGIONAL FINALIST' in the 2015 and 2016 Wedding Industry Awards and enjoys  outstanding reviews on Trip Advisor.

The packages are very much described as a ‘build your own wedding’, and the team will happily accommodate small and large numbers for your special day. Please feel free to contact the venue if you wish to have a show-round with one of their experienced wedding co-ordinators.

The history of the Beeston Manor is eye-opening and enchanting . With this in mind, it has been restored and converted over 12  years by John  Bickerstaffe and his father, Frank and has the most special atmosphere you could wish for.

Examples of John and Frank’s craftwork inside Beeston Manor include the wardrobes in the bedrooms, which were made from trusses, the fire place from handmade bricks, and the beautiful Woodland Conservatory light, handmade from an old wagon wheel! Other internal features of Beeston Manor have come from other demolished buildings where materials have been recycled and re-used including ones from Preston City Centre.

The story of the evolution of Beeston Manor from a redundant farm barn in 1985 to a busy vibrant venue is remarkable. If you are lucky to meet Mr Bickerstaffe Senior( Grandad), he would be delighted to tell you all the fascinating stories that created Beeston Manor!

Contact Beeston Manor to experience a day you will remember.
