YOUR WEDDING DAY AT BIGGIN HALL IN DERBYSHIRE
Wedding days and civil cermonies are as unique and individual as you are. Our experienced wedding planning team provide a seamless and personalised service, to ensure you wedding day is everything you want it to be.

Our grounds hold many surprises including a stunning woodland walk. Surrounded by the rolling hills of Derbyshire's Peak District close to the border of Staffordshire, we provide the perfect backdrop for you and your guests to treasure. 

HOW COULD YOUR WEDDING DAY LOOK?
To give some idea of how you could plan your wedding or civil ceremony at Biggin Hall, here are some suggested timings to show how your day could run:

- 12 Noon - Civil Ceremony or Marriage
- 12.30pm - 1.30pm - Reception drinks and photos
- 1.30pm - Guests are seated for lunch
- 3.30pm - Speeches and cake cutting
- 5.00pm - 5.30pm - Guests depart

 

The above times are a guideline only but we require guests to have vacated Biggin Hall by 5.30pm for daytime wedding parties. You may also wish to have the marriage ceremony in a church nearby but we recommend you plan to eat no later than 2.00pm to make the timings comfortable for you and your guests.

HOTEL TAKEOVER FOR EVENING RECEPTIONS
There have been some truly fantastic house parties at Biggin Hall and people still talk about them years later, this house just lends itself to such an event.  If you are having an evening party we can cater for up to 60 people.

In taking over the hotel for an evening event, you would book all 21 bedrooms plus the fee for exclusive use of the hotel and you and your guests would enjoy sole use of Biggin Hall and its grounds.

Biggin Hall is available for exclusive use for certain dates during the year for which the fee is currently £4,000 per day in addition to the cost of the ceremony, food, drink and any other costs.

This may sound like an expensive undertaking but if your guests pay for their own rooms, you will probably find that this is cheaper than putting up a marquee in a garden and hiring caterers, generators, portable loos, etc.  With a fully staffed hotel on hand, you will find that you and your guests will have enjoyed an event to remember for a lifetime!
