Bracken House, formerly a Victorian rectory, a luxury AA awarded 5 star with a Silver Award Bed and Breakfast has four en-suite bedrooms peacefully situated on the edge of the North Devon village of Bratton Fleming.  It is in a truly quiet spot with wonderful dark skies with very little light pollution and NO ROAD NOISE as we are down our own drive.  We are within easy driving distance of the spectacular coast, Exmoor and many other local attractions, including National Trust properties, gardens at RHS Rosemoor, Castle Hill, Marwood and Tapeley Park. 

The drawing room, with its Jetmaster open fire, is available for guests to relax in and also has lovely views over the garden and towards Hartland through the large bay window and the dining /breakfast room has a wood burner which is lit in those cooler mornings.

Our four quality en-suite rooms

We have four double ensuite rooms, including the premium room with its four poster bed (Wodehouse), views to the front and side of the house and a bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower room looks fabulous and many guests have returned to stay in it again.  The bed is a super king and you can lie in bed and look out of the window and see Hartland Point in the distance, weather permitting of course! Please come and spoil yourself in this room! 

The other two rooms  on the first floor have views either to Hartland Point (Wooster- double) or over the garden (Jeeves - twin or double with scope for a third bed) and have all the facilities you could want including Nespresso coffee machines.  Both of the shower cubicles in these two rooms have been replaced with large rectangular cubicles and fixed head pumped showers in March this year and look amazing!  Photos now on the site!!
