Of course we could tell you about the traditional construction from Lake District stone and slate, the sweeping driveway and the seven acres of landscaped grounds with views across to Windermere that offer clay pigeon shooting and a helipad just in case you want to arrive in style.

Then there are the intimate interior spaces; secluded, warm and inviting, with ingle nook fireplaces and period furniture. And views - it is the Lake District after all - but, those views across to Windermere and across to the Langdale Pikes are just something else.
