Weddings At Caerhays

Caerhays is a hidden jewel, in a sheltered valley overlooking the sea and Porthluney Cove. It is very accessible and extremely welcoming. On the estate there are 2 venues licensed for weddings, 4 stunning places for a reception and luxury accommodation all in one magnificent, romantic setting.

CASTLE GROUNDS

At the Cutting your wedding party will experience the dual aspect views of the castle and the sea, as well as stunning views of the lake and deer park.     The Castle Field is situated right beneath the castle itself.  The Field offers dual aspect views of both the lake and the castle, which serves as a breath-taking backdrop for your wedding reception.

The cost to hire the Cutting and the Castle Field for a maximum of 250 people is £1,600.

OLD COASTGUARDS LOOKOUT

The Old Coastguards Lookout is a totally romantic and unspoiled venue on the headland overlooking Veryan Bay with inspiring views out to sea and along the coast. The Lookout is licensed for weddings for a maximum of 20 guests and available to hire between April and September. The cost to hire the Lookout for a Civil Ceremony for a maximum of 20 people is £900.

BEACH MEADOW

For those dreaming of sea views….. Beach Meadow is perfect for receptions; this venue is situated just above Porthluney beach, with breathtaking views out to sea and with the castle as a backdrop you can welcome up to 250 guests. The cost to hire Beach Meadow is £2,000.

THE VEAN

The Vean is a large luxurious 8 double bedroom country house in the village of Caerhays, with a license for civil ceremonies. The house is also suitable for receptions, for smaller numbers in the house or for up to 150 people in rural splendor with a marquee on the lawn.
