I adore photography. I do. To say that I am obsessed is an understatement and to quote Vilem Flusser in a roundabout sort of way, "we see the world through photographs", and that's what I do. I see your wedding through imagery to create pretty and unique wedding photography.

I have been privileged to have photographed weddings of many wander-lust couples. I endeavour to treat every couple I work with as partners in crime. Co-conspirators on a photographic adventure. I want to work with you to tell the detailed story of your wedding with passion, creativity, wit, grace, humour, and warmth.I am unique in the wedding industry.

In addition to my extensive experience as a wedding photographer, I hold a Masters Degree in Digital Photography and creative media arts with other university qualifications in curating, archiving and conservation plus graphic design and bookbinding. I am currently a PhD doctoral researcher in photography - so it is fair to say that photography is my life and my passion.

Well, what does this mean to you?

It means I retain full creative control and offer everything from shooting to album/book design and print production in-house - no outsourcing. My belief that digital photography is not infinite memory and, that we are in the midst of a ‘digital dark age’ inspires me to print every day. We are in an uncertain era in which many photographs of loved ones have been lost as they have been rendered inaccessible by the swift obsolescence of the software or the loss of memory sticks and discs. So, because of my fear of this destructive digital dark age, I am a photographic purist when it comes to printing, and you will see this reflected in my packages. I create romantic nostalgia for you and your loved ones. I develop histories and hand me down heirlooms and memories.

It's important to me that Camera & Kit only shoot a limited number of weddings per year to maintain the integrity and professionalism of my work. I do this by providing multi-camera coverage in high-quality film and digital imagery by a duo or team of photographers that I lead depending on your wedding wants and needs.

I produce cinematic, graceful and inspired wedding memories and histories. A little bohemian & whimsical to boot. I only do differently. I offer three wedding packages for couples wanting half day wedding coverage to multi-day wedding and events coverage. The price you see is what you pay. There are no sneaky hidden extras.
