Located between Nantwich and Cheshire, Combermere Abbey, Shropshire, a truly magical wedding venue, come through the gates and make your way down the beautiful long drive with its ancient trees and rolling parkland. Nestled within three acres of elegant gardens at the apex of the only fruit maze in the world, you will find The Glasshouse. It is a truly magical 19th century fan-shaped building - a bright and airy room just perfect for your ceremony.

Outdoor weddings are conducted in the heart of the maze itself, surrounded by espaliered fruit trees (between April & October - weather permitting).

The Glasshouse offers:

A few steps away in the adjacent walled garden you will find their spectacular starlit Pavilion. The decking area, overlooking the lawns, provides an attractive setting and as day turns to night, the subtle garden lighting creates a truly romantic atmosphere. The interior has been stylishly designed with seating for up to 150 guests and as the evening progresses, a stunning white dance floor is revealed.

The Abbey's Historic Library to host Winter Weddings from 2016

Combermere Abbey is thrilled to announce that from January 2016, during the months of January and February, couples may hold their wedding ceremony in 'The Library'; a stunningly ornate room steeped within over 800 years of history, on the first floor of the Abbey itself. The Library has recently undergone a significant programme of specialist restoration, part of a wider multi-million pound investment to save the Abbey's North Wing.

The professional bar service is provided by Gorilla Events. Mike and his team are highly experienced, professional and friendly and will ensure that the drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic options) will flow freely.

With accommodation for forty nine guests, family and friends can relax and experience the tranquillity of Combermere Abbey. You could even have your own cottage – Stone Lodge – a secret hideaway with complete privacy to enjoy a truly memorable wedding night.
