The Crazy Bear doesn’t just do weddings, it does spectacular weddings. This unique venue has inimitable character, dramatic décor, award winning cuisine and a very special wedding service.

With almost 20 years experience hosting weddings in Oxfordshire, the original Crazy Bear offers civil ceremonies and private receptions for up to 300 guests, but that’s where the similarity to other venues ends. A private area of their outstanding hotel is offered for exclusive-use on your wedding day comprising an Oak Room and Glasshouse which open out to secluded terraces, copse and gardens backing onto 80 acres of woodland and farmland.    

Your personal wedding manager will create your individual wedding with you and can tailor every aspect of your civil ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party.  English and Thai chefs offer private tastings to create your bespoke menus including wonderful vegetarian options and rare-breed meats reared at The Crazy Bear Farm.

Additional Crazy Bear services can also be incorporated into your celebration such as clay shooting and Thai massage. Entertainment including live bands, burlesque, DJs and fireworks can also be arranged.
