I was an early adopter of the more relaxed documentary style of wedding photography, capturing the essence of the day, with guests looking relaxed, happy and mostly unposed. Clients often say my relaxed approach made them feel totally at ease being center of attention for the day.

Throughout the day I record all the events as the day unfolds, plus those important small details that made the day uniquely yours. This is photo journalism documenting the whole day in a storybook fashion. You still need those important formal moments captured, along with some creative individual and group portraiture. They'll be time too, normally shortly after the ceremony, when we can all catch our breath and have fun together away from your guests. The style of these shots would have been discussed in advance but there's always room for spontaneity... More often than not, the very best shots are unplanned.
