Dissington Hall is a magnificent wedding venue in Northumberland countryside just a short drive from Newcastle centre. Exquisite marquee weddings and marriage ceremonies are held in this beautiful country house setting. You will be the only wedding that is held that day, exclusive use is guaranteed.

Just nine miles from the Tyne Bridge Dissington Hall is a hidden gem - a family run business with a skilled and highly personal approach to your wedding reception and evening party.

Start your day getting ready in their en-suite bridal room.  After a delightful meal in their heated marquee you can dance to a band or disco. As a Grade 2 * Georgian mansion, built in 1797 you have your very own marriage venue for the day.

Your wedding guests will enjoy attentive, friendly service from their highly experienced staff allowing the bridal party to relax and treat Dissington as their home for the day.

Most receptions involve arrival drinks in the Library or, in the summer, on the Terrace and East lawn. This is followed by the wedding party welcoming the guests to a seated meal for between 40 and 160 guests,

The food is of the highest quality and menus can be tailored to suit your needs, excellent selection of wines and they also offer good value drinks packages

The day-time reception blends into an enjoyable evening function with finger buffet meals for up to 200 guests, dancing and a late licence allowing your function to end at around midnight.
