The Fingle Bridge Inn, set deep in the heart of the Fingle Gorge, is completely unique. Surrounded by woodland and meadows and with the River Teign flowing adjacent to the pub itself, it is perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception.

Excellent food coupled with attentive, experienced and professional staff, all combine to make your special day more relaxed and stress free.

Civil ceremonies
The Fingle Bridge Inn is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the riverside restaurant where the relaxing and picturesque setting creates the perfect ambiance for your memorable day.

To arrange the civil ceremony you will need to contact West Devon Registry Office https://new.devon.gov.uk/registrationservice/registrationoffices/west-devon-registration-office-tavistock, well in advance.

Receptions
The restaurant is situated at ground level with double doors opening onto the riverside terrace, thus making it easily accessible to all guests. The room itself holds a maximum of 120 people for a formal sit-down meal and up to 200 for a finger buffet.

There is a selection of menus available to fit every pocket and lifestyle, from a formal three course sit-down meal to the less formal finger buffets and barbecues. Should any of your guests have special dietary requirements, we will be only too pleased to discuss them.

Our large restaurant / function room is a very pleasant airy room which is decorated specifically with neutral colours in order to combine with any chosen wedding colour scheme.

Preparations for the room
Napkins, candles and flowers to suit your colour scheme can be organised by us, although many people prefer to provide their own. We are more than willing to discuss your requirements and advise when and where asked.
