On the brow of Seaford Head, Sussex, sits Florence House; rock solid in the sea air and surrounding wild landscape. In many ways its situation is a metaphor for its life’s purpose – a haven for the spirit however the wind blows. It’s a much loved venue for life enhancing workshops, retreats, weddings and conferences. In essence, it lovingly embraces divine inspiration, the sacredness and potential of each individual and the healing power of the landscape in which it sits.

Your wedding day is one of the most important of life’s milestones. Your families and will be sharing in your happiness and witnessing your expression of commitment to each other. It needs to be celebrated in a way that is true to your ideals and aspirations.

We believe that Florence House is the ideal place to host your special day because it has none of the limitations of a hotel. We offer you the opportunity to make the house your own for the day and celebrate it in the way you want. There is a magical effect when you gather the ones you love together for a whole weekend.

We are licensed for weddings and civil partnerships.  The main reception room can seat up to 100 people for the ceremony. A light and sunny room, it opens up onto the lawns with amazing views of Seaford Head. The front lawn is perfect for a larger marquee wedding reception against the backdrop of a stunning, undulating landscape.
