With 6 luxury self-catering cottages on site, Glebe House is the perfect venue to make your wedding a 3-day celebration or mini holiday to enjoy with your friends and family.

There are 5 acres of stunning grounds surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of the Devon countryside, Glebe House Cottages will certainly give you and your guests the “wow factor” and make your wedding one that is always remembered.

Glebe House Cottages is run as a family run business, which means they can tailor their venue to suit the atmosphere and feel that you are looking for. They enjoy getting to know you as a couple and helping you build your ideas for your wedding in an exciting and fun way. From the moment of booking, they’ll be on hand to guide you through your wedding journey in an unobtrusive manner.

Couples begin their day by exchanging vows in a civil ceremony, against the setting of Glebe House’s Grade II listed Rectory. From there, you have the choice between a formal marquee or a rustic outdoor reception. Both options can cater for up to 200 guests, but offer completely different experiences for you as a couple.

Marquee Options: If you are looking for an elegant and traditional wedding with a luscious wedding breakfast, then the marquee option is ideal for you. Situated next to the main entrance of our rectory, a marquee offers the perfect space for up to 200 guests to dine and dance the night away in a beautiful setting.

Rustic / Festival Options: If you are looking for a more laid-back and casual style wedding, or if you are thinking of something out of this world, the team at Glebe will be more than happy to help make your dreams a reality. Couples have the options to bring in all sorts of suppliers to make their day unique, from hog roast, barbeques or street food suppliers, to bouncy castles, crazy golf or inflatable courses. The rustic option also includes use of two smaller marquees perfect for a bar and band/dj as well as plenty of tables and chairs and lighting for up to 200 guests.

Whichever option you decide, you’ll have the full exclusive use of the five-acre estate all to yourself for three days. Camping and overnight parking is offered free of charge to all your guests.
