We can host wedding receptions on either a Friday or Saturday throughout the year and to ensure that your wedding receives the exclusivity and attention required we only ever host one wedding a day, regardless of the size. Consequently we have minimum charges that are detailed below.

The minimum spend for an afternoon reception at Headlam Hall in 2019 is: £52 per person for the meal and £28 per person for the drinks package (menu options and drinks packages are shown on the following pages).

The Coach House
This fabulous building used to be the stables and barns for the old Hall and in recent years has been sympathetically converted to provide a unique and stylish venue for wedding parties. It has its own bar, reception lounge, a stunning ballroom and guest accommodation, all of which are for your exclusive use.

Minimum numbers for a reception in the Coach House

Due to the limited number of dates available to hold a wedding at Headlam Hall we have a minimum charge based on 70 guests for the afternoon reception. We are happy to accommodate weddings for less people than stated above but charges will still be based on these minimum numbers.

Evening party following an afternoon reception - we can accommodate up to an additional 20 guests for your evening party over and above the number attending the afternoon reception. The total maximum number that we can accommodate at any one time is 120 (inclusive of children). Please note that all evening party guests must be catered for (prices from £25 pp).
