About Houghton Mill
A beautiful and unique place in which to tie the knot, Houghton Mill is the oldest working water mill on the River Great Ouse.
The characterful building is steeped in history, dating all the way back to 974 it had strong links with the Benedictine Abbey at Ramsey. The present-day building day we see today is also historical, at five stories high it has been continuously been built upon throughout the 18th, 19th and 20th century.
The venue has only recently begun to host weddings, and hosts for small intimate parties of guests of up to 40. This beautiful mill and awe-inspiring green scenery which surrounds the venue makes for ample wedding photo opportunity, and gorgeous memories.
