The Island Hall is a small family- run venue which provides the perfect setting for both a wedding reception and ceremony by virtue of more than its ostensible beauty, but also its utterly convenient nature- between the cities of Peterborough and Cambridge in the center of Godmanchester. 

The grand riverside mansion was first built in the 1740's and sits on 3 acres of luscious greenery, including rolling gardens and the Great Ouse river, making for ample wedding photo opportunity, and plenty of space for both large and smaller weddings. For a larger wedding of up to 180 heads, the hall can provide a marquee and for a smaller more intimate number of up to 80, guests can enjoy use of the house itself. 

Included in the wedding hire fee comes two licensed security guards an advanced and on the day supplier as well as event coordination. The hall works with a select few caterers who's expertise and skill ensure each menu is individually perfected for every couple.
