Nestled in Devon’s rolling hills on the edge of Dartmoor, this 740 acre lake is a unique location for your special day. With its convenient location, just off the A30 near the Cornwall/ Devon border, ample parking and three reception rooms, it offers a flexible approach to your day whether you want a small, simple celebration or a large gathering. At Lakeside, you can enjoy the use of our rooms overlooking the water with an outdoor covered terrace, so that your guests can spill outside to enjoy a chilled glass of wine from the bar, or an evening Hog Roast. Children will love the outdoor play area, making it easy for families to relax and enjoy the day together.

Lakeside is licensed to hold marriages and civil partnerships so you have the option of keeping everything under one roof! Once the formal celebrations are over, you and your guests can take advantage of the space available including the terrace and grass amphitheatre, both with the lake as the backdrop. A short walk away is the striking 6m stainless steel Sundial created for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and now the perfect spot for that unique photo to remember your day.
