- Our Story -

For over fifteen years, people of the North-east have been frequenting Martino’s, an independent family owned and operated restaurant that focuses on serving only the freshest and most popular Italian cuisine, in a warm and welcoming family friendly environment.
Our first restaurant situated just a few seconds walk from Seaburn’s beautiful beach, Martino’s emerged from one man’s simple plan to serve freshly prepared good quality food with great service whilst maintaining the traditions and family values that will make anyone feel right at home. Soon, both locals and tourists alike were flocking to eat at the well-known award winning Martino’s Seaburn, and incredible demand saw new branches open in nearby towns Seaham, Peterlee and Jarrow, keeping the spirit of our first creation (or baby as we like to call it).
Today, we still maintain that simple idea that got us started. Whether it’s an evening meal with an old friend, a business lunch, a family get together, or an all-out celebration, we’re ready to serve you and welcome you to our family. We look forward to seeing you soon.
