About Masa Restaurant
Masa is light, airy and beautifully appointed, creating a modern elegance and ambience. Ceremonies are conducted in the open plan downstairs area, which can seat up to 100 guests. As the venue was originally a chapel, couples can, if they wish, incorporate traditional touches into their ceremony, such as walking down the aisle.
The galleried restaurant can seat up to 80 guests for a formal wedding banquet, with a further 100 seats downstairs, where canapés and buffets are also served. Outside, Masa has front and rear gardens, ideal for photographs and cocktail receptions. Inside, the dance floor with its natural acoustic qualities is perfect for harpists, quartets, live bands and discos.
Top table
Top table at Masa is a top table in true sense with its setting at the higher tier, giving a commanding view of the other tables and providing the most theatrical of the settings for a top table. Multi-level setting of masa tables emphasises the joyous occasion and it is the perfect environment for speeches and entertainment.
Unlike other venues, guests at Masa enjoy the use of the two levels and do not have the inconvenience of moving from a single designated room while it is being set. The ceremonies take place in the grand surroundings of our downstairs lounge in front of the pulpit. Guests will enjoy the after ceremony drink in our front garden, and will then be invited for the wedding breakfast upstairs. Evening entertainment takes place downstairs with a large designated dance floor and evening buffet being served in the upstairs gallery. Having the two levels for sole use means that none of the setting up activities by our staff disrupt our guests enjoying themselves.
Exclusive venue
As Masa is a exclusive use venue, you will never share our grounds, our bar or the toilets with other guests. We offer a great privilege and fantastic quality at modest prices.
