Maunsel House is a beautiful 13th century manor, set in the heart of Somerset. Full of history and English eccentricity, Maunsel House is a warm and welcoming house with the emphasis on fun. You can hire Maunsel House exclusively for your wedding, either for the day or the entire weekend. This magical Somerset wedding venue can cater for all theme's, whether it's a beautiful summer wedding under the pergola with guests, a marquee on the lawn, or an intimate winter wedding by candlelight with close family and friends, they will do whatever it takes to make your dream wedding come true!

With 13 bedrooms in the house, and four cottages within walking distance, they can cater for all of your family and close friends in glorious style. They can cater for all tastes dining alfresco under their roofed Pergola or inside in their magnificent Ballroom and/or Dining Room. You can be as formal, informal, traditional or unconventional as you wish, it is your day and they want you to enjoy it.

For your evening reception your choices are endless. You could have anything from DJ’s to bands, Ceilidh's to barn dances, fireworks to Chinese lanterns, hog roasts and buffets to posh fish & chips.

The number of guests attending your wedding can be tailored to suit. Inside the house can hold up to 150 people over two rooms or using an extension marquee to the French Windows in the Ballroom. Under their roofed pergola they can seat up to 200 guests and the marquee area can seat up to 250 guests.
