Merrydale Manor is a luxurious, bespoke and exclusive wedding venue in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Located in the picturesque village of Over Peover, it is just two miles outside of Knutsford.

As soon as you approach Merrydale Manor, you are presented with a grand entrance, which leads you to a long driveway and one of the most sought-after places to tie-the-knot in Cheshire

You'll be amazed by acres of manicured gardens and landscape views from both sides of the driveway. There's the beautiful Manor House on your left and the serene lake on the right, complete with a fountain and a jetty. This is our photographer’s favourite spot and a place where they can capture the most beautiful sunsets!

Merrydale Manor is licensed by Cheshire East to take your vows in our dedicated civil ceremony room - seating up to 200 guests. The ceremony room features oak beams and limestone flooring with stunning views of the estate through the large windows, making it the perfect place to say ‘I do’.

After your ceremony, guests are welcomed into our stylish bar and lounge area for a celebratory drink before carrying on the celebrations at your wedding breakfast in the jaw-dropping Merrydale Suite.

Here at Merrydale Manor, our resident Toastmaster and wedding coordinator will be on hand throughout your special day and on the run-up to the day itself to ensure all is perfect for you and your partner.

Our Toastmaster will welcome all guests and announce the new couple into the Merrydale Suite ready to be served some delicious food and drink from our exclusive caterers Barretts.

Our Merrydale suite is best described as 'contemporary glamour'. With state of the art AV facilities, climate control, LED lighting and stunning chandelier, you can’t fail to be impressed by the high stand of interiors. The Suite seats up to 200 guests, yet still leaves ample room for an optional stage and dancefloor so that you really can make the most of your evening celebrations and party the night away with your friends and family.

As we like to go one step further, we have created a bespoke makeup room. This is the perfect space for our brides to glam-up in style with their bridal party and can be used as a space to freshen up throughout the day and evening. 

Your special day doesn’t need to end there; at Merrydale Manor you also have the option to rest your head and wake up the next day in our luxurious Bridal Suite. We also have a further range of accommodation for your close friends and family. We have ten luxury double courtyard rooms on site in addition to four double bedrooms in our contemporary Manor House and 5 eco woodland lodges within the grounds, accommodating a total of 38 guests. Included in our accommodation price is a Full English and Continental Breakfast served for all overnight guests the morning after the wedding.

As Merrydale Manor is a purpose-built venue every aspect has is cleverly thought about with brides and grooms in mind and as a family-run business, we will do everything we can to offer you everything you want to make your special day live up to your expectations.
