About Moot House Social Club
Moot House at The Stow, Harlow is an attractive 19th century grade II listed house. It was originally built circa 1840 to house the incumbent of the nearby St Mary-at-Latton church. The view of the church from the house disappeared as the Stow, nucleus of Harlow New Town was built.
Moot House is the perfect place to hold your wedding. With a choice of rooms to cater for whatever number of guests attending the ceremony. We also have the facility to hold your reception, again with a choice of rooms. Outdoor photography can use the imposing front of the house or the tranquil setting of our garden behind the house.
With the closure of the Harlow Registry offfice at the Water Gardens, Moot House will be the place to hold civil weddings.
